We are seeking an our HR Coordinator to oversee the full Talent lifecycle from recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and off boarding. This position requires you to be self-motivated, extremely coach-able, and a detail-oriented individual. You must be highly perceptive and socially aware in your interactions with applicants and existing Team Members, with the ability to accurately read each situation. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to easily establish rapport with a diverse range of people.
Pay Type: Starting at up to $20.00 - 21.00/hr
Position Type:
- Part-Time / Open Availability (ability to be scheduled 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Monday - Saturday)
- 15-20 hours

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have experience in HR
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Proven ability to display high levels of professionalism, honor, dignity, and respect
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the application, interview, and on-boarding process are completed within the established timeline to ensure the most efficient and effective methods are being utilized continuously.
- Maintain a constant and adequate pipeline of applicants to meet the staffing needs of the business based on future needs and trends/historical hiring data.
- This includes all recruiting and potential external leadership candidates
- Create a proactive recruiting strategy and ensure all information posted is current.
- Create, collect, organize, and keep current all hiring data. This includes but is not limited to:
- Total applications received, % screen, % interviewed, % hired, average tenure of new hires, etc., that allows us to continue to refine our processes.
- Organizational Alignment:
- Connect regularly with Directors of Front and Back of House to assess current and future staffing needs.
Tactical Expectations:
- Recruiting:
- Create and maintain fresh/relevant recruiting materials for digital and in-restaurant use
- Drive application traffic to ensure an adequate flow of candidates year-round
- Maintain relationships with area schools, visiting during lunch to recruit students
- Participate in local job fairs & recruiting events
- Manage recruiting referral program (when applicable)
- Interviewing:
- Know the staffing needs of the business at all times by communicating with the Owner/Operator, Front and Back of House Directors
- Ensure legal guidelines are followed in screening and interviewing applicants
- This includes scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, etc.
- Establish an efficient/effective interview process
- On-boarding:
- Oversee uniform ordering for all new hires
- Ensure all applicants are approved through the E-Verify process
- Ensure all paperwork and documents are collected and organized appropriately
- Execute all onboarding components and evaluate continuously to look for areas of improvement
- New Hires:
- Maintain log of all new hires to and administer 45-day review test
- Sick Log:
- Maintain a log of all team members/team leader call offs due to illness
- Note and communicate patterns of behavior and/or illness outbreaks
- Execute Employee Reviews:
- Maintain employee review calendar and execute TM reviews with the assistance of the operations team
- Administrative:
- Applicant screening
- Interview scheduling
- File all employee documents/paperwork
- Provide Operator with Employee Referral Bonus information each pay period (when applicable)
